Death’s Door
Is there any concern over the destruction that’s piling up in the world? Catastrophic events are happening more often and in bigger portions than any other time in recorded history. Many people being fed up with government bailout solutions are raising an angry fist. With global economic and financial melt down having a grip on the future of mankind, does anyone think it’s a little unusual? Could it be Doomsday really is coming?
When calamity strikes and panic sets in most citizens somehow pull together and mourn while helping the hurting. Within a span of time things seem to get back to some sort of normal pace. Oh! and there are those individuals who aren’t even phased by what’s going on. They shrug it off saying, “that’s just the way it is”. Their take on disasters is things happen and it’s just another day. Business as usual…
Eyes are really unaware. The passing of an age swiftly approaches.
Do you believe in God? If the answer is no, then may I suggest you reconsider your position and be reconciled to Him. Is it because you’re afraid of losing control of your life and being accountable for your actions that you do not believe? Jesus said, “He who has found his life (soul), shall lose it, and he who has lost his life (soul), for My sake shall find it. Could it be your heart has been hardened because of disappointment of the way life turned out? Or is it you’re just outright satisfied and fulfilled with everything you do and don’t see a need for a Savior- LORD God…
What’s the sense of being alive and striving for things that bring a false sense of satisfaction. Yet, even knowing how utterly meaningless it is to be continually consumed with momentary cravings, such as got to have this or that; they can never bring eternal peace. But, influence and allure are constantly on the prowl finding something new to fill that void.
Growing up in a world that constantly forces the subconscious mind to want everything faster, smaller, and think on its own, etc… will only produce a heart to be satisfied for the illusion of gadgets. It’s like the youth who’s mind thinks life is an endless time line and only seeks another opportunity to fulfill ambitions with pleasure. Unfortunately, the thrill only lasts for that moment.
In the end does any of this madness matter? The Worries of the world, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life will all be exposed for what they are.
Everyone is going to pass away and Death’s Door will always be unlocked to welcome all who enter. Once inside there will be a rude slam shut. It won’t be the envisioned joke everyone laughs about. It won’t be party time with your friends. The sad truth is darkness will overwhelm you. There’s no switch to turn on the light. Only wailing, gnashing of teeth and torment. It’s what awaits every living being in their short journey on earth with no hope of escape… unless you have a Savior!
Who has understanding of thoughts, of an individual’s final seconds from eternity?
Will you go into eternity by way of Death’s Door lost without a Savior? Or will you go to a place called paradise to be with the Savior? …the promise
